Each turkey tail feather mount is hand‑crafted to order using feathers from a legally harvested turkey provided by the customer. This custom piece is arranged in an approximate 3‑foot by 3‑foot diamond layout, designed to highlight the full fan of tail feathers in a balanced, visually striking display. Careful attention is given to symmetry, feather condition, and overall presentation to create a one‑of‑a‑kind keepsake.

Custom Order and Pricing

This is a fully custom item created from a customer‑provided turkey. The listed price includes a natural pine frame. Other frame styles may be available for an additional cost, depending on material availability.

A non‑refundable $100 deposit is required to begin your custom order, with the remaining balance due prior to pickup or shipping once the piece is complete. Final pricing may vary based on feather condition, layout requests, and frame selection.

Optional add‑ons, such as including the beard and or spurs in the final display, are available for an additional cost and must be discussed prior to production.

Bird Submission Requirements

Customers are responsible for delivering or shipping their turkey.

Bird must be:

• Legally harvested
• Very fresh or frozen (preferred)
• In good condition
• Free of excessive dirt or blood

Additional cleaning or preparation may result in an added fee. Detailed drop‑off or shipping instructions will be provided after your order is initiated.

Customization Details

Each turkey tail feather mount is fully custom and framed to order. Example layouts are shown in photos; however, customers may request alternate arrangements when possible. Please note that custom layout requests may affect final pricing. Any feathers not used in the final mount become the property of Fur & Feather Creations.

Production Time

Most custom turkey tail feather mounts require approximately 8-12 weeks for completion once the feathers have been received and all design details are finalized.

How Custom Orders Work

After checkout, you will receive a Custom Intake Agreement to confirm layout preferences, frame selection, and delivery or shipping arrangements. Production begins only after the intake agreement has been completed and confirmed.
